Hello,

Cheers for the reply and the help. I have tried the Methods you suggested, each in turn (checking if information technology worked before moving to the next). None of them seem to work.

The new Edge wants all flash turned off, and are not permitted to run - should this be turned on? Method 2 doesn't say - says check the settings...

Hardware acceleration is turned off already.

I have also checked my Nvidia settings (running a GeForce GT610) and they permit the Os to control the GPU/ CPU usage. Not sure what else to attempt to be honest. Whatsoever farther aid or ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Dave

Attempt going into Settings and Site Permissions.  From the sub-menu on the right, select Insecure Content.  In the Permit section, click the box marked Add and type in the URL of the site you are having problems with.  Click Add again and see if the video now plays.  If it does, then you volition have to repeat the process for each site you want 'unlocking'.

Thank y'all all for your suggestions. Nil had worked and I'd just stopped using Edge for video playback till a couple of days ago. I gave it some other try and it all works!

I haven't changed any settings on my PC or Edge. The but affair that's changed that I can think of is I keep all my apps and drivers up to date - so something to do with that might be the reply.

In brusque - Edge now plays all content from Netflix, Amazon and YouTube etc. If I find out what inverse, I will postal service it here.

Thanks once again for all help offered.

I have the same issued and tried all the suggested fixes.  Occasionally information technology will start playing a pic, like on Netflix, but if I pause it for any reason, so continue to play, the screen goes black with audio only.  I finally had to just use other browsers to sentinel Amazon, Netflix, Youtube etc.
